Our Ports & Logistics projects range in scope, from car park design, specialist traffic management through to developing customised Traffic Management Policies for our clients.
Particularly important for Ports and Logistics facilities, Traffic Management Plans involve setting “rules” around how traffic, pedestrians, and emergency vehicles move through and around a particular facility, ensuring that the facility operates in compliance with traffic-related conditions of consent.
Our Traffic Engineers are able to assess traffic conditions (both existing and planned) through the development of simulation models using Commuter. These models can emulate the access and egress control equipment within the facility, and accurately simulate the arrival, parking/loading and departure activity of each truck visiting the terminal.
