Brief
ING requested PCI to provide initial advice in relation to the design, equipment, ticket issues and management for the 1,200 bay car park attached to a brand direct retail outlet centre. A second phase required on-going support in implementing appropriate management practices and satisfactory resolution of issues relating to the car park.
Scope of Work
• project manage the car park asset, attend and chair management meetings in Perth
• provide upgrading and design review advice
• specify, evaluate and provide advice in relation to major capital procurement projects for the project (including items outside the scope of standard car park access equipment)
• provide maintenance agreements and prepare a comprehensive procedures manual
• provide the strategy to transfer management in-house and assist in the recruitment of staff for the operation of the car park
• on-going audit of the car park's financial performance.
Outcome
Minimised customer complaints about the car park, improved efficiency of the car park entry and exit design, replaced the management, improved the reliability of the equipment, commenced an equipment maintenance programme, provided procedures manual and improved the revenue of the car park by 330% which was confirmed by our subsequent financial performance audit.
